Littlefinders at Melbourne Eureka Ice Slide

By July 1, 2017 No Comments

Its all fun and games until you are expected to hurtle down a 36 meter long, 4 meter tall Ice Slide…

This year Eureka Skydeck welcomes back their super popular Ice Slide. Set up on the banks of the Yarra, right next to Ludlow Bar the slide is seriously icy fun for everyone!

It was a rather brisk morning for our LIttlefinders – actually the coldest in years, but the sun was out and the (fake) snow was gently falling at the Melbourne Ice Slide to the kids were keen to get a tube and start sliding.

There are a few rules, under 5s have to ride with and adult (hence I was roped into a few slides!) but there are smaller tubes for the kids who ride alone – handy as you have to carry your own up to the top each time. Helmets are provided but optional.

The slide has two lanes, so my Littlefinder and I ended up racing each other down, it was fast and super fun, I have to admit I loved it as much as them I think.

There is car parking right under the Eureka tower which about 50 meters away, but being that its set up right on Southbank it would be easy to get public transport and just wander down.
