South Wharf has so much to offer families – DFO, Polly Woodside and many amazing dining options. But this winter it has added a wonderfully icy attraction – all thanks to Common Man – families can now Skate, Slide and Chill down on the banks of Melbourne iconic Yarra River.
Head down to Dukes Walk and you cant miss it – a huge marquee right out the front of the Commonman! The whole rink and slide are undercover, with
gas heaters dotted around so even if the weather isn’t great, you can still enjoy your experience.
The SKATE component is obvious – a rink decorated with fairy lighting and 3 huge disco balls, its beautiful. If your Littlefinders can quite manage skates there are blue kangaroo skating aids that they can ride around on.
The SLIDE component is a mini toboggan – fast and fun, your Littlefinders can run up and slide down till their hearts content.
The CHILL is for both the Big and Littlefinders – think hot gourmet pies, hots dogs and donuts, and even the infamous South Melbourne Market Dims Sims! There certainly a little something for everyone on the menu.
Skate / slide session lasts 45 minutes and begins on the hour, every hour.
Tickets include skate hire as well as use of toboggan & grant access to both the skating rink as well as the toboggan slide during your 45 minute session.
Minimum age 3yo.
